Music Lab

The AI song maker that hands you the stems.

Describe a song in one sentence and hear it with vocals in about a minute. Then it opens as a real multitrack project: split it into stems, rewrite the chorus, add a bass line in key, and master it for TikTok.

Music Lab runs on a monthly plan. Clip Pro is $9 for your first month, then $19/mo.

Every part stays editable

A finished song is where it starts.

Every AI result lands as a new take beside the old one, never over it. One undo step takes it back.

  • Split into stems

    AI

Pull any song apart into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, keys and the rest, each on its own track with its own fader.

  • Rewrite a part

    AI

Select the chorus, say what should change, and get takes that blend into the bars around it. Change one lyric line and only that line is sung again.

  • Extend

    AI

Add an intro, a bridge or a longer outro that picks up right where the song is.

  • Add an instrument

    AI

“A warm Rhodes.” A new track in the song’s key and tempo.

  • Change the style

    AI

Hear the whole song as lo-fi, acoustic or synthwave, as a new take beside the original.

  • Mix and master, free

Questions, answered

Music Lab FAQ

What is Clip Studio Music Lab?

Music Lab is an AI song maker in the browser. Describe a song in one sentence, or paste your lyrics, and it writes and records a full song with vocals or an instrumental. The song then opens as a multitrack project you can split into stems, edit, mix and master.

Can I get the stems of an AI song?

Yes. Split into stems pulls the song apart into separate tracks (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, keys and the rest), each with its own volume, mute and solo. Every stem stays in your project to mix and edit.

Do I need to write lyrics?

No. Describe the song and tap Write lyrics for me: we draft lyrics with verses and a chorus, you edit any line, and the song is sung from them. You can also paste your own lyrics, or make an instrumental.

Which AI music models does Music Lab use?

Songs are written with Mureka 9.5, Lyria 3.5, ACE-Step 1.5 or MiniMax Music 3. Mureka 9.5 is the default because its songs stay editable: rewrite a part, extend it or re-sing a line in the same voice.

Can I use the songs in my videos?

Yes. Use your songs in your videos and posts. Exports have no watermark, and a song can go straight under a Video Lab music video, a Topic Short or a Character Film.

How is Music Lab priced?

Every AI action (writing a song, splitting stems, rewriting a part, extending, adding an instrument, changing the style) is quoted before it runs and uses your monthly generation allowance. Editing, mixing, mastering and exporting are free.
