Lock the opening
Write the first prompt, pick aspect and resolution, optionally drop a still as the first frame. The quote is exact for the session length you choose.
Director
H3 Max Director is a live WebRTC session, not a Video Lab batch. You start a prompt, watch the stream, send a new direction mid-scene, stop, and save the recording to your library.
Opening prompt
“Sunrise in a quiet atelier. A giant brush rests in wet color.”
Mid-stream direction
Flood the floor with paint. A boy walks through it. Hold on his face.
Direction applied

How it works
Write the first prompt, pick aspect and resolution, optionally drop a still as the first frame. The quote is exact for the session length you choose.
Go live. The player is the session. Send a new prompt when the scene needs a turn. Nothing publishes to a public audience — this is your cut.
Stop the stream, then save the recording into your Clip Studio library as an MP4. Streamed time uses this month’s generation allowance, with a 60s floor and a 120s cap.
Why this path
Video Lab renders one prompt and waits. Director is a live WebRTC session, so you can steer the next beat without starting a new batch.
You pick 60, 90, or 120 seconds. That length is quoted before you go live. The session auto-stops at that cap so a live stream cannot run away.
When the session ends, the recording lands next to Video Lab and Topic Shorts clips. Download it. Publish it. Recreate the setup later.
The browser talks to Clip Studio. Clip Studio proxies fal. FAL_KEY stays on the server. Sign-in is required.
Before you go live
Director is a live H3 Max session: you configure a prompt, stream video and audio over WebRTC, send new directions mid-stream, stop, and save the recording into your Clip Studio library. It is not a Video Lab batch clip.
Each plan includes a monthly generation limit. Session length and resolution use that allowance. You pick 60, 90, or 120 seconds before you go live. After stop, unused time above the 60-second minimum is returned. A session that never configured does not use the allowance. Upgrade anytime for a higher monthly limit.
120 seconds. The player auto-stops at the length you quoted so a live stream cannot keep billing.
No. Director is a private signed-in studio session. There is no public livestream and no audience chat.
No. A prompt is enough for text-to-stream. An optional still becomes the exact first frame when you want the opening locked to a photo.
Stop, then Save. The recording is transcoded to MP4 and stored in your library like other Clip Studio generations.
